On August 28th 2009, BNBM held the 30th anniversary celebration ceremony in the Great Hall of the People.

BNBM is a subsidiary of China National Building Material Group Corporation (CNBM), which is a state-owned enterprise in charge of administrative affairs in the building material industry. BNBM is the largest new building material manufacturer and was established with state investment upon the approval of Mr. Deng Xiaoping in 1979. BNBM has become the biggest new building material manufacturer in Asia, which developed gypsum board as its core business. It has 25 gypsum board production lines, and its manufacturing capacity has reached 560 million sq. meters. “Dragon Brand” products are used in major construction projects in China. According to gypsum board industry plan, BNBM will reach annual manufacturing capacity of 1 billion sq. meters by the end of 2010.
