CNBM Subsidiary China Composites Supplies 80% Blades
Feb 27th 2010, the first 34 wind turbines of the Shanghai Donghai Bridge offshore wind farm Project have been completed assembly, which is the first offshore wind farm in China and Asia. This marks the first step of China`s offshore wind farm industry. As the major blade supplier of Shanghai Donghai Bridge offshore wind farm Project, CNBM subsidiary China Composites has supplied 26 sets of 3MW blades, which takes almost 80% blades of the project.

Shanghai Donghai Bridge offshore wind farm Project is China`s first national offshore wind power pilot project under the approval of National Development and Reform Commission on May 2008.

The Donghai Bridge Wind Farm achieved two "firsts": The first time in the world to use high-rise pile cap foundation design, which is an effective solution to technical problems such as bearing, uplift resistance, and horizontal displacement of tall wind turbines and the first time to use integrated hoisting of offshore wind turbines in China.
