On August 26, Beijing New Building Materials Public Limited Company (BNBM) officially announced the merger and reorganization of Sichuan Shuyang Waterproof Materials Co., Ltd., a leading waterproofing company in southwest China. On August 28, BNBM officially released its development strategy of "taking gypsum board business as the core, developing waterproof materials and coatings business, and creating a global layout" and the 358 Plan on the occasion of its 40th anniversary, announcing the waterproofing business as a strategic business of equal importance to the gypsum board industry. On October 31, BNBM announced the merger and reorganization of Yuwang Waterproof Building Material Group Co., Ltd. and Henan Golden Thumb Waterproof Technology Co., Ltd.

So far, BNBM formed the layout of ten waterproof material industry bases covering the whole country within two months, providing high-quality materials and engineering services to customers nationwide and becoming a leading enterprise in China's waterproofing industry.

The merger and reorganization of Yuwang and Golden Thumb also marks the completion of the first phase of the layout of BNBM's ten major waterproof material production bases covering the whole country.
