On May, 14, CTIEC and XinYi Super-thin Glass Co., Ltd., (DongGuan) signed a general contract on power generation project through complete low-temperature waste heat in XinYi Group DongGuan Glass Industrial Park. Mr. Peng Shou, board chairman and general manager of CTIEC, and Mr. Dongqingshi, president of XinYi Glass Holding Co., Ltd. attended the signing ceremony which was reported by CCTV in time.
　
  This project will be constructed by adopting CTIEC independently-innovated technology about complete low-temperature waste heat from float glass line for generating electricity. It is the first project in our country to use waste gas coming from float glass furnace for generating electricity, for refrigerating and for heating, which receives full affirmation and support from National Development and Reform Commission. The total installation capacity of power station is 3500kW. This construction period is 10 months. After its construction, it can save coal equivalent of 20,000 tons each year and reduce CO2 emission of 50,000 tons, meanwhile energy’s integral utilization efficiency is elevated from 40% to 70%.
