On November 22, the official website of the Chinese Academy of Engineering (CAE) released the list of co-opted academicians in 2019. Peng Shou, President and Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of China National Building Material Company Limited, was elected as a CAE academician. This is the 14th co-option of academicians and the 13th co-option of foreign academicians of CAE, and a total of 75 academicians and 29 foreign academicians were elected.
