On August 23, 2022, Forbes China released its first 2022 China ESG 50 list which included CNBM (HK3323). As the concepts such as sustainable development and ESG are gaining importance, CNBM, with outstanding ESG performance, is listed in Forbes 2022 China ESG 50. This honor is the result of CNBM’s efforts in sustainable development and fulfilling corporate social responsibilities. Forbes lists are called “barometer of the economy” and wealth weathervane. This is the first China ESG 50 list released by Forbes, aiming to find the best ESG practices by Chinese companies. By looking at companies’ ESG performance (Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance) and information disclosure measures, the list helps analyze current situation and future trends of ESG development in China.
