Wei Rushan, Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Deputy General Manager of CNBM Group, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and President of CNBM, recently led a delegation to Nigeria and Ethiopia for an investigation and inspection of projects undertaken by affiliated companies. During the visit, Mr. Wei met with ambassadors from both countries, relevant government agencies, and participated in the Invest Ethiopia Forum.

In Nigeria, Mr. Wei and the delegation conducted on-site research at the calcium silicate board factory, metal colored stone tile factory, and Ogun manufacturing base invested by CNBM’s affiliated companies. He also hosted a symposium for the Group’s companies operating in Nigeria. Mr. Wei commended the active efforts made by the affiliated companies in localizing funds, talents, and operations. He acknowledged Nigeria’s strong regional performance, capable team, rich experience, and diverse business opportunities. Nigeria is regarded as one of the regions where CNBM demonstrates excellent international and localized operations. Looking ahead, Mr. Wei emphasized several key areas of focus. Firstly, conducting post-evaluations and summarizing the experiences gained from investment projects. Secondly, maintaining and enhancing the brand image of CNBM through effective brand building and management. Thirdly, promoting Chinese culture and storytelling effectively. Lastly, prioritizing the well-being of employees, particularly local employees, and actively fulfilling the social responsibilities as central SOEs.
